After the pandemic began, Serbian playwright, director and activist Milena Bogovac asked herself “Who would I be if there was no theatre?” We find the answer in the performance itself, and it is witty, ironic, and in its explicit intention to belittle the art of theatre and its importance, actually gives it a primary meaning. The performance features original music, video and technical support by Serbian artist and her partner Jugoslav Hadžić. Throughout the performance the two interact, including the audience in the communication, who can participate, comment and ask questions. Both artists are participants in this year’s Radar Sofia residency programme.
