Iskra Prodanova (b. 1988) is a choreographer, performer, facilitator of dance and movement (improvisation, Pilates, somatic practices) and visionary of the Moving Body platform. She works and creates mainly in the field of contemporary stage forms, but she also moves around visual arts and sound. She maps different routes on which to move in the long and short term, and territories in which to stand.
She graduated as a choreographer-pedagogue at Varna Free University in 2011, then developed her moving/dance technique and conceptual thinking thanks to a number of workshops with artists such as Diego Aguglio, Doris Ulych, Philipp Ser, David Zambrano, Leslie Baker, East Kovacs and others.

Over the years she has created solo works and participated in group artistic projects, exhibitions and performances in various places and as part of events such as: VIDEOHOLICA International Festival for Video Art, DA fest – International Festival for Digital Art, RADAR-Festival Beyond Music, ACT Independent Theatre Festival, VERTIGO Festival for Contemporary Dance and Performance, Process Space Art Festival, WATER Festival for Contemporary Art, ATOM Choreographic Series, CAMP Festival for Visual Music and others.
Iskra Ivanova is co-founder, together with Svetlozara Hristova, and artistic director of MOVING BODY platform for contemporary dance and performance.
